Here is a qbasic (only one that I know I am afraid) program that will roll the to see the chance
for a random encounter when travailing in the day. It will ask you how you are travailing and How busy the area is.
It will then tell you if you are attacked and at what time (not who). I made this as I did not want to roll 24 times
to see if the party was attacked every day. I got the % from the new DM screen from Forgotten Realms but it I think
that the chances are the same all over

You can get qbasic for free from you win 98 CD in the tools/olddos directory and just copy it
to the computer. When you start it open the file and hit shift+f5 to start it. since it is a dos program you can
make it open in just a window instead of full screen. The code is right there if you would like to change anything.
If you want to change the % just remember to add 1 to the new number you want.
